Odour Reduction
As with all electronic precipitators they are particle collectors, not odour molecule collectors.
True, electronic precipitators produce ozone, which is an oxidant, but is produced in such minute amounts there is no significant value in odour reduction.
An industry rule-of-thumb is that particles carry 50% of odour molecules.
The remaining is present in molecular form.
This requires a different treatment, such as adsorption (carbon filters) and/or UV lamps to adequately control odour.
